Some More Prayerful Humor =)

Just wanted to add this little prayer to my small corner of the world. A friend of mine from work emails a lot of prayers to me, but this one caught my attention because of its humor. I wanted to share it with you, since my mom and one of my sisters got a big kick out of it when I read it to them. Here it is:

Dear Lord,

So far today, I'm doing all right.

I have not gossiped, lost my temper, been greedy, grumpy, nasty, selfish, or self-indulgent. I have not whined, complained, cursed, or eaten any chocolate. I have even charged nothing on my credit card.

But I will be getting out of bed in a minute, and I think that I will really need your help then.

Amen

Again, this is just a little bit of humor for an otherwise too serious world. Of course, that's just my opinion. So who am I, really, to say anything?
